Our APEX solution delivers an enhanced Aviation Products Liability insurance solution for WTW's U.S. clients.
Eligible classes:
The WTW APEX program is available to all single-carrier Aviation Products Liability placements, including:
- Aviation component manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and service providers
- Manufacturers with unknown or indirect aviation products exposures (e.g., manufacturers of entertainment systems, lighting, overhead bin fasteners, tools used in the building of aircraft or their components)
- Any size of operation
- Any premium amount (no minimum premium threshold)
Ineligible classes:
Aviation companies whose exposure requires a quota-share (multiple-carrier) Aviation Products Liability insurance program. Examples include airframe and engine manufacturers. If ever in doubt, ask us to review your program.

- Aviation Products and Completed Operations Liability — up to $600 million policy limit
- Grounding liability:
- Traditional grounding — up to $250 million
- Partial grounding — up to $10 million
- Non-occurrence grounding up — to $10 million
- Product recall expense — $1 million
- In-flight testing of aviation products — at policy limit
- Crisis response coverage — $250,000
- Aviation premises liability — at policy limit
- On-airport auto liability — at policy limit
- Hangarkeepers liability — up to $100 million
- Non-owned aircraft liability — up to $10 million
- Contractual liability — at policy limit
- War/terrorism liability — up to $250 million
- Excess auto and employers liability — up to $5 million
- Employee benefits liability — up to $5 million
- Long term agreement – Coverage and rate guarantee for up to 3 years
