ARLINGTON, VA, September 21, 2020 — Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, today announced that its Insurance Consulting and Technology business has joined the MuleSoft Technology Partner Program. This collaboration will allow MuleSoft insurance clients to accelerate the adoption of Radar Live, Willis Towers Watson’s real-time rating solution and decision engine.

Willis Towers Watson has also contributed to MuleSoft’s partner ecosystem by releasing a MuleSoft Certified Connector for Radar Live. The Radar Live connector enables organizations to integrate Willis Towers Watson’s point-of-quote insurance rating and decision engine quickly and easily with data from any system — no matter where it resides — and will be available in MuleSoft’s Anypoint Exchange for all Anypoint Platform users to access.

MuleSoft is the latest vendor to join Willis Towers Watson’s global Radar Live Collaboration program. The program facilitates faster integrations with Radar Live through an ecosystem of leading insurance software houses.

New data sources and the accessibility of machine learning algorithms have heightened expected analytics performance and the level of sophistication in automated decision making. Concurrently, consumers’ demands for online and mobile insurance quotes for comparison along with their expectation of fast claim settlements have driven the need for real-time pricing and decision making.

“Radar Live allows insurers to meet these demands head-on,” said Andrew Harley, senior director, Insurance Consulting and Technology, Willis Towers Watson. “Insurers can quickly gain a deep understanding of pricing, underwriting and claim dynamics, while reducing risk exposure, and rapidly deploy simple, rules-based models or advance machine learning algorithms through a well-governed, managed process.”

“Digital transformation has universally become a strategic imperative for businesses, and integration challenges are often what holds the majority of them back,” said Brian Miller, senior vice president of business development, MuleSoft. “Technology partner integrations with MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform simplify connectivity, empower organizations to unlock business capabilities and build a resulting application network. This partnership will further enable our mutual customers to realize speed, agility and innovation at scale by eliminating time spent on complicated integration projects.”
