In this session, we looked at how employers are shaping their people strategies to enhance the employee experience, support wellbeing, modernise benefits and embrace the future of work and rewards.
Our first guest speaker from Sompo shared a case study on how the 130-year-old Japanese organisation is facing the new world of work, and transforming itself.
Our second guest speaker from Optum Global talked about how the pandemic has changed the way they work, as well as the impact on different employee groups relating to employee wellbeing and benefits.
In this session, we also focused on:
- How to shape people strategies to enhance the employee experience
- Rethinking benefits and wellbeing programs for the post-pandemic world
- How transformation changes the design of work and skills, and how corporate culture drives such changes
“The opportunity now lies in taking the positive learnings and changes from last year and embedding them into a longer-term vision.”
