Please note that this discussion was recorded on 14 October 2025 before the Government’s announcement that the Financial Conduct Authority will take over AML regulation from the Solicitors Regulation Authority as part of the Government’s reform to consolidate supervision. Further guidance and updates will be issued by the Law Society in due course regarding the AML regulatory reforms.
