Willis hires James Gillespie as Head of Data & Analytics for Global Direct & Facultative to bolster product development and innovation

LONDON, September 16, 2025 – Willis, a WTW business (NASDAQ:WTW) today announced that James Gillespie has joined its Global Direct & Facultative Specialty team as the Head of Data & Analytics. In this new role, Gillespie will lead the development of new and innovative products, harnessing insights gained from Willis’ unrivalled data sources, including the Broking Platform.

Prior to joining Willis, Gillespie headed up Pricing at Aon and RPC Tyche, leading international teams and supporting a broad range of clients across the direct and reinsurance marketplace. He brings over 15 years of industry experience to the business.

Gillespie will look to expand Willis’ client and product offering, leveraging data insights to support client risk decision making and provide Willis brokers with the ability to take new products to market. For cedant clients he will provide modelling insights and develop risk quantification and pricing tools that will enable them to underwrite new and emerging risks.
