WTW provides an overview of the Irish Government's plans to implement Auto-Enrolment in late 2024. Ireland is currently the only OECD country that does not have a pensions Auto-Enrolment system, and its introduction is long overdue.

It is estimated that only one in three private sector workers have supplementary pension provision and that when Auto-Enrolment goes live it will provide retirement savings access to an additional 750,000 Irish employees.

So what do we know about Auto-Enrolment? And what are the key questions employers need to consider in advance of Auto-Enrolment going live later this year?
