We went into this exercise with some fear that we would have to completely overhaul everything. And what we found in the data was that actually, we were already doing a lot of good things. It just helped us tighten up the strategy. The optimization work really kind of gave us the confidence through the data.
After the total rewards optimization study, we wanted to have some quick wins to convey to employers that we were listening and that where we prioritize our flex joint option as with most immediate action.
The unified data helped us move forward with creating roadmaps that were very clear. And having the confidence to move forward with targeted changes because now we've got the data to back up our intentions. So we're using it to just really push forward our strategy, both globally and locally.
We've been focused on imagining a more personalized experience and total rewards for our employees. The total rewards optimization was clear to us that we could generate much greater value to our employee population by allowing them to make elections as to where they would find thos contributions the most valuable.
There are changes that can be made without necessarily spending more money. I think there's always this idea that if you're going to do better for your employees, that means you're going to intrinsically spend significantly more. There is always room to step back and take a look at what you're already doing and understanding and really hearing from your employees to make sure they value it.
