NEW YORK, NY, May 9, 2023 — WTW (Nasdaq: WTW), a leading global advisory, broking, and solutions company, today announced the appointment of Charlie Carwin as the North America Property and Casualty (P&C) Practice Leader in its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) division. Carwin will assume the role of North America P&C practice leader while maintaining his current position as Proposition Leader – Capital & ERM, North America, P&C at WTW.
With over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, Carwin's distinguished track record from senior roles in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) includes working with clients to implement capital modeling solutions across the Americas. Throughout his career, Carwin has held various leadership positions at insurance firms including The Navigators Group, The Hartford, and AIG, as well as at investment management firm PIMCO.
As North America P&C Practice Leader, Carwin will work closely with Regional Proposition Leaders, P&C Division Leaders, senior practitioners/sellers, and Global Product Leaders to optimize revenue streams from existing client relationships, in addition to forging new client connections and leveraging relationships across multiple lines of business and geographies. With a sharp strategic vision and a deep understanding of the P&C sector, Carwin will lead efforts to expand market presence, enhance brand reputation, and drive sustainable growth.
