HONG KONG, April 19, 2023 – WTW (NASDAQ: WTW), a leading global advisory, broking, and solutions company, has once again been recognised for its continued excellence in asset management. The company has been named the “Alternatives House of the Year (Hedge Fund)” for a second consecutive year and “Best Multi-Asset House” by Asia Asset Management's Best of the Best Awards 2023.

The awards acknowledge WTW’s innovative approach to dynamic hedge fund portfolio construction and unconstrained multi-asset solutions that cater to the evolving needs of institutional investors in Asia. Against the backdrop of an increasingly uncertain and volatile investment environment, the judges were impressed by the investment team’s strong track record in building alternative investment strategies that successfully identify risk-return drivers and deliver ‘true diversification’ in a way that efficiently complements investment portfolios, exemplified by the comparative outperformance of WTW’s flagship Hedge Advantage Fund (HAF) and Partners Fund.

"We are honoured to receive these prestigious awards, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to our clients for their unwavering support," said Jayne Bok, Head of Investments, Asia at WTW. "This recognition is a testament to the relentless hard work of our investment team and their commitment to delivering innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients."

WTW’s investment expertise has proven to be highly effective in helping clients navigate uncertainty and mitigate the impact of rapidly shifting market cycles. Backed by over 900 colleagues globally dedicated to this business, with US $163 billion in assets under management and advising on more than US $4.7 trillion, WTW’s global multi-asset platform is uniquely positioned to support institutional investors in securing sustainable, long-term outcomes.

"At WTW, we recognise that institutional investors in Asia are facing a challenging investment outlook that will require a more intentional approach to building resilient portfolios,” added Bok. “Our team is already witnessing growing demand and appreciation for well-diversified, multi-asset solutions that can offer equity-like returns with lower volatility. This has been coupled with a renewed interest in exploring the tangible benefits alternative investments like hedge funds and private credit can provide when high-quality manager selection and conviction are brought together.”
