SINGAPORE, December 11, 2023 – WTW (NASDAQ: WTW), a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, today announced the appointments of Rupert Roberts as Head of Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) for Southeast Asia and Christine Lau as Head of Corporate Risk and Broking Singapore, effective 2 January 2024.
As Head of Southeast Asia, Rupert Roberts will work with WTW’s CRB country leaders in Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam, as well as the company’s partners in Malaysia and Thailand to accelerate the growth of the business in Southeast Asia. Rupert brings with him a wealth of experience across the retail, wholesale and specialty insurance segments in Europe and Asia Pacific, having worked at various multi-national brokers. He joined WTW one year ago as the Chief of Staff for its CRB Asia business.
Christine Lau will take up the new position from her current role as Head of Client Services in WTW’s Singapore CRB business. She will lead the Singapore team in growing the CRB business across large accounts, specialty and industries through collaboration with WTW’s specialist teams. Christine brings with her over 25 years of Singapore-based broking experience, of which six years are with WTW.
