ZURICH / LAUSANNE / GENEVA, January 18, 2023 – “WTW is committed to the Swiss market. The merger with GiTeC supports our long-term strategy, and we are confident of the benefits this merger will bring to WTW and GiTeC clients and colleagues”, comments Stephan Wildner, Head of WTW Switzerland. “We look forward to our future success together, which supports the objective of becoming a reference in the field of actuarial services for the Swiss market. We thank our clients and colleagues for their trust.”

Continuity in customer service

Active mainly in actuarial valuation and consulting for pension funds and insurance companies for the last 20 years, GiTeC is joining a team of experienced colleagues at WTW in Lausanne and Geneva to form a highly competent and consolidated team. The combined expertise and resources create a formidable force in the field of pension consulting in the French-speaking region of Switzerland, providing multidisciplinary services such as actuarial services, investment, legal, strategic consulting, pension management, employee rewards, as well as insurance broking and health.

The complete team of six talented pension fund experts and actuaries from GiTeC represents a strong addition to WTW in Switzerland, whose growth strategy aims to provide diversified and integrated quality services to clients. “We are excited about the opportunity this merger brings for all our clients and colleagues”, said Guillaume Hodouin, Head of WTW Lausanne. “Together, we aim to deliver even more robust and sustainable solutions to serve the diverse and evolving needs of clients”.

A seamless integration of GiTeC at WTW Lausanne has been organised so that all colleagues can continue to focus on their clients’ needs with high quality advisory services. “Our clients will continue to be supported by their current expert or actuary, and gradually we will be able to support them with a broader range of services through a stronger combination of teams”, said André Gilliéron, co-founder of GiTeC. “GiTeC and WTW share the same values of putting clients first, providing tailored and quality services through a motivated and enthusiastic team,” confirms Giovanni Zucchinetti, co-founder of GiTeC.

Both GiTeC founders join WTW and will continue to look after their clients as well as support the growth strategy of WTW Switzerland.
