There is growing concern about a global recession, tight labour markets and inflationary pressures in some economies. This led us to conduct a recent survey across the CEEMEA region to find out what people think about their pay and benefits.

The following are some highlights from the UAE:

In 2022, nearly one-third of organizations anticipate further growth in business performance, with performance either improving or staying the same in 2023.

There is an unavoidable attrition rate of around 6.5% among employees in general. The challenge lies in attracting and retaining certain segments of talent that are harder to find and far more difficult to retain, such as those in sales and digital.

As a result, companies are increasingly resorting to alternative approaches in order to increase their chances of attracting and retaining the right talent. These approaches include enhancing workplace flexibility and providing retention bonuses in order to attract and retain them.

Our study examines the ways in which organizations in the United Arab Emirates assess and address the current challenges that are related to recruiting, retaining, and pay management in the workplace.
