The ranking is based on independent surveys conducted by the Philippine Daily Inquirer and global research company Statista with more than 11,000 employees working in companies across 27 industry sectors.

Survey participants were asked to rate over 2,000 companies and institutions across 27 industries in the Philippines through an online survey conducted from May to July in 2022. Employers with at least 250 employees in the Philippines were considered and given a score based primarily on whether the staff would recommend the company to a friend or family member and to other acquaintances in the same industry. They were also asked opinions on a series of statements related to working conditions, salary, potential for development, company image on their current employer.
