2021 Reset: The Future of Talent & Reward Virtual Conference

The current times have pushed us to adapt, reinvent and look at things in different and new ways. The forces of change shaping the future of work have been considered for some time but the pandemic has accelerated this change, forcing many of us to adapt to new ways of working and delivering on our people promises in radically new ways. So, what does all of this change mean and what are the key factors to consider as we look towards 2021 and beyond?

Sustaining a culture of transformation and engagement

We were delighted to be joined by Aisling Teillard, Co-founder and CEO at Our Tandem and Hans de Goeij, Director of Communications & Change Management, to hear their insight and our latest thinking on the role of communication and change management as we navigate the evolving environment companies are facing at present. They also discussed the need for ongoing listening, continuous feedback and new ways of engaging with people in this new world.

Keynote: Future of Work - re-thinking how work gets done

We were thrilled to have Ravin Jesuthasan, Futurist, Author & Managing Director, Willis Towers Watson as our keynote speaker on the topic of Future of Work. Ravin outlined the forces of change currently shaping the future of work, the acceleration of change brought on by Covid-19, the key shift from jobs and jobholders to work and skills and the implications for your organisation. Ravin also highlighted some examples of the re-invention of work in these unprecedented times to ensure your organisation is set up for success as we emerge from the pandemic.

Redefining the Employee Experience

What is the Employee Experience and how can we deliver it in a virtual world? More importantly, what are the key elements of the Employee Experience that we need to focus on right now? We were joined by Yvette Verschoor, Head of Employee Insights in Western Europe, who discussed the practical application of our Employee Experience framework in this virtual world.

Reward design in the future - how to optimise reward

In this session our panel considered the key aspects of reward and its role in attracting, motivating and retaining people. The team outlined how to optimise reward and some key elements that will create the total reward strategy of the future. We also shared key insights on some of the trends we see in the market that will shape the future of reward. Our panel, led by Gabriella Bergstedt and Dona De Saint Sernin from our Ireland Rewards Practice were joining be Joris Wonders, Head of Talent & Rewards in Western Europe and Ian Milton, Senior Director, Rewards.
