Jenny Gibbons, Head of Governance Consulting at WTW, shared some highlights from our governance survey 2022, which looks at the Code and wider aspects of good governance.
We heard how trustees are responding to the Single Code, including the steps being taken and early thinking on Code compliance and the two new Function roles. In addition, we looked more broadly at some of the latest thinking on board effectiveness and good decision-making.
We were also joined by guest speakers Nick Gannon, Policy Lead at The Pensions Regulator, Liz Airey, Chair of Rolls-Royce UK Pension Fund and Rachel Brougham, Trustee Executive at BESTrustees, who shared their own experiences and views.
