EX Conversations – Flexible work and its implications on the employee experience and benefits

In this video, our experts discuss how the pandemic has impacted flexible work and employee benefits, the steps employers can take to manage this impact, and the role of leadership to drive the changes forward.

A recent survey found that almost half of Asia Pacific employees are currently working from home — and roughly the same number is expected to continue to do so through the first quarter of 2021.

This unprecedented shift, together with the ongoing uncertainty and the prospect of recurring lockdowns, has forced employers to rethink how work gets done and the role of the workplace. It’s also prompted them to grapple with some aspects of employees’ lives beyond the workplace, for instance, how they utilise their benefits and access medical care.

In this video, our experts Royston and Wen discuss how the pandemic has impacted flexible work and employee benefits, the steps employers can take to manage this impact, and the role of leadership to drive the changes forward. They also discuss the emerging trend of telehealth, which a growing number of employers and insurance partners are offering in the region.
