Climate liability: a risk for every corporate, not just the big emitters

Climate Risk and Resilience

September 14, 2021

Climate risk has increasingly become a strategic and financial matter. Our whitepaper explores the impact of these risks and how to manage them in the future.

Organisations can no longer afford to view climate change purely as an issue of corporate and social responsibility. It has increasingly become a strategic and financial matter, with businesses needing to take action to manage systemic climate-related financial risks as well as physical and liability risks.

Our recent roundtable in collaboration with Airmic and Minter-Ellison looked at the current relationship between climate change and environmental, social and governance risks. We then explored the key drivers of physical climate-related risks and liability. This report looks at the impact these risks are having today, and how to understand and manage them in the future.
